Ashicore is an inventory-first operations app — a light MRP for small-scale batch manufacturers who buy materials, make products to a recipe, and ship them to customers. One lot-backed, costed inventory core sits at the center, and Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Sales all read from and write to it. This page orients you before you dive into a module.

Ashicore is event-sourced at its core. Every movement — a receipt, a build, a shipment, an adjustment — is recorded as an event in an append-only inventory ledger. On-hand quantity, demand, expected supply, and available-to-promise are all projected from that ledger, never typed in by hand. The four modules are different lenses onto the same shared core: Purchasing writes stock in, Manufacturing turns materials into products, Sales commits and ships them out, and Stocktakes reconciles the records to what is physically on the shelf.

A workspace becomes useful once it knows your materials, products, partners, and what you have on hand. The fastest path is to bring your existing records in, then connect the systems you already run your business on.

  • Built for batch makers. Materials, products defined by a bill of materials, and production in discrete or batch runs.
  • Lot- and cost-aware throughout. Stock is tracked in lots with cost attached; margin on a sale is estimated up front and booked for real when it ships.
  • Not a general ledger. Ashicore syncs accounting documents to Xero or QuickBooks rather than keeping its own AP/AR, GL, or payments — your accounting system stays the book of record.
  • No capacity or auto-MRP planning. You plan and prioritize manufacturing orders directly; there’s no work-center scheduling or auto-generated MRP run.
