Receive stock (full & partial)
Turn ordered quantities into real, costed inventory. Receiving is driven from the order’s status menu: choose Received to prefill all remaining quantities, or Partially received to start with blank quantities and fill only what arrived. Each line you receive writes permanent receipt history; lot-tracked items get a new lot.

Open the receive dialog from the status menu. On an ordered or partial order, open the status menu and choose Received (prefill all remaining quantities) or Partially received (start blank). Both open the Receive purchase order dialog — “Enter the quantities received for each material.”

Enter quantities and the receiving location. The dialog lists every line with its Ordered, Received, and Remaining quantities, plus a Receive now input (in purchase units). Choosing Received prefills each row to its remaining amount; leave those values unchanged to complete the order, or reduce/clear rows to receive less. Choosing Partially received starts blank so you fill only what arrived. Pick the Receive into location — leave it as default unless stock landed elsewhere.

Confirm — stock, lots, and status update. Choose Mark received when you left the full prefill in place, or Receive selected for the lines you filled. Each received line writes a permanent receipt at the landed stock-unit cost; tracked items get a new lot, while untracked items append to their internal shared lot. The matching expected supply is released, and the status becomes Partially Received (lines remain) or Received (all complete).
