Prioritize the queue

Open manufacturing orders have a unique positive priority rank. The rank controls queue order; completing or deleting an order clears its rank and reranks the remaining open orders.

1. Drag to reorder. Open Manufacturing > Manufacturing orders on the Open tab. When the list has no search, resource filter, or sort override, drag the Rank column to reorder open orders. Ashicore renumbers the submitted queue as 1..n.

2. Filter, then focus. Use search and the resource filter to find work, inspect ingredient coverage, or compare deadlines. Clear filters before dragging the queue again. A single order can also be assigned a rank, but duplicate active ranks are rejected.

Rank is only for open work

Done orders do not keep a queue rank. If two users try to assign the same rank, Ashicore returns: Priority rank N is already assigned to another active order.
